Cashing in on a Twitter Blunder

Calling for Marshall Law

Here’s a tweet from one of America’s favorite politicians, Marco Rubio:

In case you didn’t see it on first glance, he used “Marshall” instead of “martial.” Obviously, this is Twitter, so about a million people were ready to point out his mistake.

One person hinted at a marketing opportunity by retailer, Marshall’s. I think if they were on top of their social media/marketing, they would have retweeted something clever like Wendy’s does.

On the other hand, Eminem responded a day later saying, “Sorry guys, Marshall Law: not a thing.” He probably could have taken a more clever approach too, but obviously understandable with the current state of affairs.
